License Issues

Problem description

The problem resolution can apply if you experience one or more of the following issues:

Licenses are Assigned but not Visible

  1. From the Controllers menu, select a controller.

  2. In the controller user interface, select License Assignment.

  3. Select Virtual Station Types.

    The list of licenses in Current License Status is empty, even if you select SYNC.

A Warning Message Appears when Attempting to Sync

  1. From the Controllers menu, select a controller.

  2. In the controller user interface, select License Assignment.

  3. Select Virtual Station Types.

  4. Select SYNC.

    A warning message appears, for example, "Failed to connect to Atlas Copco license manager".

License Sources do not Appear in the Source Overview

  1. From the Controllers menu, select a controller.

  2. In the controller user interface, select License Assignment.

  3. Select Source Overview.

    The list of License Sources is empty.

Resolution

The license data in the controller might have been corrupted. The resolution is to reset license data for the controller:

Resetting controller license data will:

  • Not affect existing license mappings.

  • Automatically stop and restart the controller.

  1. From the Controllers menu, select the controller for which you want to reset license data.

  2. Select the menu.

  3. Select Reset license data.

    The Reset license data view appears.

  4. Select Confirm.

The controller is restarted and its license data is reset.
