Troubleshooting - Trim / RE
Fault | Cause | Remedy |

The preset torque is decreasing and the pulse frequency is slightly increasing | Low oil level in the pulse unit? | Refill oil |
The machine does not reach the expected torque | Too soft joint ? The yield point of the joint’s screw has been reached ? | Operating area. A bigger machine? Check the torque adjustment and the joint’s screw quality |
The machine does not shut off | Air pressure at the machine too low ? Torque adjusting screw is set in a too deep position ? Stop pin is not correct ly adjusted ? Incorrect oil volume in pulse unit ? Too soft joint ? Too low rotary speed ? | Check the dimension of the hose and coupling, increase air pressure Adjust counter clockwise until the shut off is distinct Adjust according to the instruction
Refill oil
Choose a bigger machine Check the Trim valve setting, check the vane motor assembly |
Pulse frequency too low or too high | Incorrect oil volume in pulse unit ? | Refill oil |
Accuracy not as good as expected | Very hard joint and min. torque setting ? Too soft joint and max. torque setting ?
