Tightening Tracker
The Tightening Tracker module is a system that monitors the tightening process and communication with the controllers. If it detects errors or abnormalities it will send messages in the message bus. Enabling the Tightening Tracker can help troubleshoot the tightening process.
In Diagnosis mode, on the Modules page, mark the row for Tightening Tracker.
Select the Start module button.
Message | Code | Warning/Error | Related to tightening result | Assistant message mapper | User feedback/action |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Start already received for positioningID: <positioningID> | ID001 | tightening_error | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | The process needs to be stopped, ask the user to check controller configurations for self-lock. |
PositioningId not found in last tightening: <positioningId> | ID002 | tightening_fatal | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | This could never happen, Controller is sending "empty" or a wrong positioning ID. |

Fast result already received for positioningID: <positioningId> | ID004 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | The process needs to be stopped, ask the user to check controller configurations for self-lock. |
Result already received for positioningID: <positioningId> | ID005 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | The process needs to be stopped, ask the user to check controller configurations for self-lock. |
Tool is released while setting PositioningID: <positioningId> | ID006 | tightening_error | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | It could be due to something wrong in the ILG process. |
PositioningID doesn't match to any entered volume! | ID007 | tightening_error | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | This could be due to timing (communication between the controller and ILG). |

PositioningID set while tool is released | ID009 | tightening_error | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | System error |
Start received with empty positioningID | ID010 | tightening_error | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | Controller self-lock not enabled. |
Stop received with empty positioningID | ID011 | tightening_error | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | Controller self-lock not enabled. |
Fast result received with empty positioningId! | ID012 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | System error |
Result received with empty positioningId! | ID013 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | System error |
Re-hit detected | PRO001 | tightening_warning | Yes | User notification | Check configuration for automatic lock after every tightening. |
Possible re-hit detected | PRO002 | tightening_warning | Yes | User notification | Check configuration for automatic lock after every tightening. |
Tightening result does not match fast result | RES001 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | This should never happen, but if it does, there is something wrong in the controller. Indicator that Tightening Queue is not in expected order. |
Timestamp in tightening result doesn't match. It is before the volume was entered! | RES002 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | HMI: Check synchronization of both systems (controller, system where ILG is running). |
Pset of position does not match to the one in the result | RES003 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | Check configuration for automatic lock after every tightening. |
Tightening stopped received before started | SEQ001 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | System error |
Tightening fast result received before started | SEQ002 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | Indicator that Tightening Queue is not in expected order. |
Tightening result received before started | SEQ003 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | System error |
Invalid order: Tightening and loosening are not in sequence | SEQ004 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | System error |
tc_fast_result detected without corresponding start! | SEQ005 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | System error |
tc_result detected without corresponding start!! | SEQ006 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | System error |
Tightening was started while tool was locking! | SEQ007 | tightening_error | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | Tightening started after ILG tried to lock the tool but before controller acknowledged the lock - this will lead to dropped result (SEQ010/011) if tightening is finished. |
Tightening was started while tool was releasing! | SEQ008 | tighening_warning | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | Tightening started after ILG released the tool but before controller acknowledged release - indication of controller slowdowns but not an direct issue. |
Tightening was started while tool was locked! | SEQ009 | tightening_error | No | Process is stopped/option to continue | Controller reported that the tool is locked and running at the same time: Can happen in some cases if controller is heavily loaded/and or tool trigger spamming. |
OK result dropped! | SEQ010 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | Unstable positioning: When the tool is physically "on" a position, it should stay in volume even if the tool move around slightly. Too short pset run time: Ex rehit type tightenings/second passes. Controller delays can in this case cause ILG to ignore results if the tightening was reported when the tool already moved out of volume. |
NOK result dropped! | SEQ011 | tightening_error | Yes | Process is stopped/option to continue | Unstable positioning: When the tool is physically "on" a position it should stay in volume even if the tool move around slightly. Too short pset run time: Ex rehit type tightenings/second passes. Controller delays can in this case cause ILG to ignore results if the tightening was reported when the tool already moved out of volume. |
