Functional Description of the Screw Feeding Unit
The Screw Feeding Unit stocks, transports, sorts, and separates the screws and transports them via the Feeding Tube to the Screw Feeding Tightening Module.
There is a supply of screws in the Screw Container of the Screw Feeding Unit. The fill level is monitored by a Sensor at the bottom of the Screw Container. Optionally, an Ultrasonic Sensor can be used to monitor the level.
The screws reach the Step Conveyor Unit from the Screw Container. The screws are moved upwards via movable steps.
From the top stage of the Step Conveyor unit, the screws fall onto the V-block.
The screws then drop into the Linear Guide hanging from the collar. There the screws are fed to the Separating Unit. The Air Sorting causes unordered screws to fall back into the Screw Container. The Rail Fill Sensor checks the fill level of the Linear Guide. If the Linear Guide is full, no new screws are supplied to the Step Conveyor.
If a screw is required in the Feeding Head of the Screw Feeding Tightening Module, a single screw is provided by the Separating Slide.
Then the screw is blown into the Screw Feeding Tightening Module through the Feeding Tube.
