Built-in battery
The MT Focus 6000 has an integrated Real Time Clock (RTC). The RTC runs on a re-chargeable Li-Ion battery and is charged when the controller is connected to its DC supply voltage (e.g. from the PSU).
The battery is fully charged when the controller is produced and will last for approximately five months.
The battery can be fully recharged in approximately 10 hours.
If the RTC battery has been discharged the RTC needs to be set for the controller to have the correct time, used in e.g. time stamps in results. This can be done via Tools Talk MT or Atlas Copco Open Protocol.
The controller does not support time setting via Ethernet like Network Time Protocol.
