Activating a license

  1. Connect the STpalm to a PC by USB cable.

  2. From the Toolbar, tap the Menu icon (). Then, select Configuration > Maintenance > License.

  3. On the upper-right corner of the License page, tap the Add icon (). The following is displayed:

  4. In the Step 1 text box (Generate capability request), type the Activation Code. Then, click Generate.

    Generate gets active only after typing the Activation Code.

    After tapping Generate, a capability request file is automatically stored in the Download folder of the device.

  5. An Information message opens. Tap OK.

  6. Upload the capability request file on the license activation portal (https://atlascopco.flexnetoperations.com) to get the capability response file.

    If needed, press F5 on the PC keyboard to refresh the page.

  7. After getting the capability response file, upload it on the Download folder of the device.

  8. In the License manager page (see “Step 3 – Acquire the capability response”), tap Upload.

  9. In the Select capability response dialog box, tap the drop-down list.

  10. In the Select item dialog box, tap the correct capability response file. Then click Next.

  11. In the Confirmation required dialog box, make sure that the capability response file has the requested license(s). Then, tap Upload for completing the process of license activation.

    In the License page, after adding a license to the device, the Status of the license gets Active.
