Automatic Screw Feeding Operation

WARNING

Risk of Severe Injury

Never operate the tool wearing loose objects. Choking, scalping or other severe bodily injuries can occur if loose clothing, jewellery, neck ware and hair is not kept away from tool or accessories.

  • Never wear gloves when operating the tool.

  • Keep loose clothing, jewellery, neck ware and hair away from rotating drive or accessories.

Compressed Air

High air pressure can cause severe damage and bodily injury.

  • Do not exceed maximum air pressure.

  • Make sure that there are no damaged or loose hoses or fittings.

Moving Parts

Never operate the machine with the cover lid open. Moving parts can cause bodily injury, especially to the hands.

  • Always close the cover lid before operating the machine.

Requirement

Do not use force when handling the Screw Feeding Unit.

Check the Screw Feeding Unit for any incorrect adjustments, jammed moving parts, damage and other faults that could affect the operation of the device.

  • The Screw Feeding Unit is connected to power, the compressed air, the Power Focus 6000, and the Screw Feeding Tightening Module.

  • The Feeding Tube connects the Screw Feeding Unit and the Screw Feeding Tightening Module.

  • The Screw Feeding Tightening Module is electrically and pneumatically connected to the Screw Feeding Unit.

  • The Screw Feeding Tightening Module is connected to the Power Focus 6000.

Filling the Screw Container

  • Only fill screws into the Screw Container, screws that have fallen into other areas must be removed.

  • Only fill the Screw Container with screws up to the indicated marking.

WARNING

High Air Pressure and Projectile Hazard

Always verify that all connections between the Feeding Tube and the Swivel Arm are securely fastened before pressurizing the tool. Otherwise screws can escape at high speed and cause serious injury, especially to the eyes.

  • For this reason, the pneumatic power supply must be switched off and vented during all work on the Screw Feeding Tightening Module, or the "Bit Change" mode must be set on the Screw Feeding Unit.

  1. Turn on the Power Focus 6000.

  2. When the power supply for the Screw Feeding Unit is on, the Status Light is lit up.

    Set the Rotary Switch in the "Automatic" position.

  3. Press the trigger on the Screw Feeding Tightening Module.

  4. A screw is requested and leaves the Screw Feeding Unit via the Feeding Tube.
