Troubleshooting for ILP

Solution

The LED is blinking red.

There is no active connection between the ILP and the ILG.

  • Remove and reattach the battery to restart the tool.

  • Check the IP/Host. If it is wrong, redo the tool creation in ILG.

  • Check the flex cable connection.

  • Check if the flex cable is broken and replace it.

  • Check if the Accessory Port on Tool is broken and replace it.

  • Check if the ILP module is broken and replace it.

The is no ILG license.

  • Add an active ILG license.

The ILG license is inactive.

  • Replace the inactive ILG license with an active ILG license.

The adapter cable is connected incorrectly.

  • Check that the adapter cable is connected correctly. The end with one connector should be connected to the ILP Primary Flex cable on the ILP module. The end with two connectors should be connected to the tool. Refer to the Installing accessories chapter for images of correct connections.

Something is wrong with the sensor.

  • Check if the laser LED is blinking or not. If it is blinking check the points above. If it is not blinking contact Atlas Copco Service Center.

No LED and no connection to the ILP module.

There is no power.

  • Plug in the battery.

  • Remove and reattach the battery to restart the tool.

The wrong adapter cable is being used, and is connected to the ILP Primary Flex cable and to the tool.

  • For tools with generation letter A/B, use the adapter cable ILP-ILM ITBA-A/B Flex Adapter. For tools with generation letter C, use the adapter cable ILP-ILM ITBA-C Flex Adapter. Connect the correct end of the adapter cable to the ILP Primary Flex cable, and the other end to the tool.
