By part grouping inspection

  • Name (*): type the name of the inspection.

  • Barcode identifier (*): it identifies the inspection. If left blank, the identifier corresponds to the inspection name. When a barcode is scanned on the measuring device, the matching inspections are sent to the device.

  • Enable barcode regex: click the switch to enable the barcode regex feature. For more information, refer to Barcode regex.

  • Type (*) : select By part from the down drop list.

  • Part to inspect (*): select the part to inspect. Click the Search icon () and select an Assembly part from the Location card.

  • Scheduling by time: add/select/delete the scheduling.

    Do one of the following:

    • Click Add icon () to add a new scheduling.

      In the Add Scheduling dialog box, enter the details related to the new scheduling.

      Then, click Save.

    • Click Search icon () to select a scheduling already configured.

      In the Scheduling workspace, select the necessary scheduling.

      Then, click Apply.

    • Click Delete icon () to delete the selected scheduling.

Parameters

  • Number of parts (*): type the number of the parts to inspect.

  • Start next inspection (*): from the drop-down list, select between:

    • Always: when a measure is done, the next inspection starts automatically.

    • OK only: when a measure is done, the next inspection starts automatically only if the previous result is OK.

    • Never: when a measure is done, manually switch to the next inspection.

  • Skip disabled: click on the switch to enable/disable the possibility to skip measures of the test.

    By default, the skip is disabled. If a measure is skipped, it is not possible to run it later. The skipped measures are not retrieved by QA Supervisor.

  • Inspections: in the box, all the inspections linked to the selected assembly part are shown.

    To change the order of the inspections in the list, select an inspection and then click the Move up icon () or the Move down icon ().
