Traces
Traces are available only for the following methods: Cm/Cmk, Cp/Cpk (tool/joint), SPC (tool/joint) and Tool Calibration and if the function is enabled on the measuring device.
On the upper-right corner of the Inspection Result Details card, click Data to open the Data Details card.
On the upper-right corner of the Data Details card, click Traces to open the Curve Plot card.
On the upper-right corner of the Curve Plot workspace, there are the following command buttons:
Close button: click to close the curve plot card.
Offset: click to change the offset of the curve.
Click the Offset icon to start the curve from the start final angle (and not from the transducer min load).
Fullscreen: click to open a full-screen plot.
Chart type: click to select the type of the plot to be displayed.
Select between:
Torque over time (plot of the torque in function of the time)
Angle over time (plot of the angle in function of the time)
Torque/Angle over time (plot of both torque and angle in function of the time)
Torque over angle (plot of torque in function of the angle)
Linearity check (plot of the linearity of the torque trace). This option is available only for VDI/VDE 2645-2 inspections.
If the measured value is OK, it is displayed as a grey circle.
If the measured value is NOK, it is displayed as a red cross.
In the case the double peak function for the residual measures is enabled on the measuring device, in addition of the residual point also the peak point is shown and it is marked with a triangle on the curve plot.
If the peak value is OK, it is displayed as a grey triangle.
If the peak value is NOK, it is displayed as a red triangle.
The residual value is the torque value at which the joint is tightened.
The peak value is the maximum value measured during the test.
Export as: click on the CSV button to export the traces in a comma-separated values file, or the TSV button to export the traces in a in a tab-separated values file.
