Trace parameters

• Name (*): type the name of the trace.

• Description: type the description of the trace.

• Measurement unit (*): select the measuring unit for the trace.

  The default measurement unit is defined both in the Application settings and in the Personal settings.

• Chart type: select the type of chart to display.
  This field is available after adding at least one raw trace.

• Add/delete a raw trace.
  Do one of the following:

  • Click Add icon () and select one of the following options:

    • Import from ToolsNet 8: in the Toolsnet 8 Traces Filter card, select the tool, the tightening program and finally the results to import as curves.

    • Import from file: select the files to import from the PC. The supported formats are .qap and .txt. Multiple selection is supported.
      For information on the file, refer to Requirements for raw traces files

    Traces can be imported from both files and ToolsNet 8, for a total maximum of 10 traces.

  • Click Delete icon () to delete the selected trace.
