Parameters
ISO 6789 type: type of wrench defined in ISO 6789 standard. The wrench type is defined in the configuration of the tool model.
ISO 6789 class: wrench class defined in ISO 6789 standard. The wrench class is defined in the configuration of the tool model.
Number of samples: type the number of tightenings to be done.
Tightening direction (*): select one of the following options:
CW: clockwise direction.
CCW: counterclockwise direction.
Measurement unit (*): select the measuring unit for the inspection.
The default measurement unit is defined in the Application settings and in the Personal settings.as: type the expected measurement error.
W': type the expected relative uncertainty error.
Disable manual insert: by enabling this switch, the wrench torque readings are automatically populated with the Target torque value of the test. By disabling the switch, the wrench torque readings must be typed manually.
Available only for Type I wrenches.Relaxation time: in case of wrenches that do not save the torque peak, type a value greater than the mechanical relaxation of the wrench. In case of wrenches that do save the torque peak, leave this parameter at 0.
The maximum value is 5 s. Available only for Type I wrenches.End cycle time: if Relaxation time = 0, the End cycle time starts when the torque goes and remains below the Cycle complete for the given time. If Relaxation time > 0, the End cycle time starts when the Relaxation time expires.
The default value is 0.4 s. Available only for Type I wrenches.Preload: click on the switch to enable/disable the preload measurements.
The Preload switch is enabled or disabled by default, according to the ISO 6789:2017 parameters configured in the Application Settings.
Test Points
Test points: values of the test points.
They are calculated from the maximum torque of the selected tool as indicated in the ISO 6789:2017 standard.
The test points can be given as follows:Torque target and torque deviation
Lower limit (LSL) and upper limit (USL)
Percentage of maximum torque and torque deviation
Click either the right or the left arrow to change the view of the test points.
