Balance Control Adjustment

  1. To balance the arm for different loading variations, the main air supply filter/regulator must first be set to the appropriate setting.

  2. To adjust the balance of the arm, configure the precision regulator (A) with the adjustment knob.

  3. Increase or decrease the pressure until the arm is in a level position. The force to raise and lower should be approximately the same.

  4. Ensure to tighten the lock nut, located on knob stem, after pressure adjustment.

Ensure that air input connection thread is 1/4" G.

Air is normally released from the bleed hole (the hole on the side of the precision regulator). This is a necessary consumption of air based on the design of the regulator – it is not an abnormality.
