Replacing the Oil Filter

It is recommended to replace the oil filter at every oil change or at 1 year intervals along with the oil, unless the oil is contaminated.

  1. When the pump is cool, unscrew the oil filter by turning it counterclockwise and discard it.

  2. Grease the joint of the new filter with the GP (general purpose) grease.

  3. Put the new filter in place by screwing it clockwise until tight.
