ToolsTalk MT Password protection

You need administrative rights on the PC to enable or disable the Tools Talk MT password protection. Administrative rights are not needed to change the password once the authentication is enabled.

When you start ToolsTalk MT with password protection enabled, you are in Read only mode.

Enabling ToolsTalk MT password protection
  1. Find and right-click ToolsTalk MT in the Start menu and select Run as administrator.

  2. Select Yes in the User Account Control window.

  3. In ToolsTalk MT select the User icon .

  4. In User settings select Password protect ToolsTalk MT and select SET PASSWORD.

  5. In Authentication settings enter a password (minimum 4 characters), and then select OK.

  6. In User settings select OK. You are now signed-in in Editing mode.

  7. Go to EDITING and then select Sign Out to go back to Read Only mode.
