HTTPS Configuration
HTTPS can be used to encrypt end-to-end traffic between a browser and ToolsControl Portal. The use of HTTPS requires a certificate that is trusted by the web browser, and it can be done in three ways:
To manually trust the self-signed ToolsControl certificate in the browser.
To use a trusted Root CA (Certificate Authority) to create a chain of trust. Ideally, the Root CA is already trusted by all browsers in the organization.
To upload a non-CA certificate that is signed by a trusted Root CA.
