Checking the availability of feature licenses in Smart AMS
Go to the Smart AMS Config address in your web browser by using the Open Smart AMS Config UI shortcut
on the Desktop or on the Windows Start menu.

To expand or collapse the Smart AMS subsection, select the Smart AMS title.
Find the License information subsection. Feature licenses are visible once the configuration is pushed to the server.
To expand or collapse a subsection on the About page, select

, respectively.
To close the About page, select
in the upper-right corner.

Select the bell icon (
or
) in the upper-right corner of the page to see the list of notifications. If Smart AMS is missing one or more licenses for configured and activated items, you will see the corresponding notification.

The notification is only visible if the logged on user has sufficient permissions to access the configuration facilities of Smart AMS.
The Smart AMS section on the About page includes the following details: the license server connection status (connected/disconnected), license server IP address and port, license status (trial or perpetual), trial license expiry date (if you are using the trial license), tightening tool licenses (total/consumed/available), third-party tool licenses (total/consumed/available). The License details subsection displays information for the latest configuration pushed to the Smart AMS server. Tools in a configuration that is not pushed to the Smart AMS server do not count and do not consume licenses.
