When switched Off

Action if failure

Description

End all

  • All channels will end the tightening and report status NOK.

  • The tightening that did not have an error itself will report additional info Terminated by other bolt.

Continue OK

  • The failing channels will end the tightening with status NOK.

  • The remaining channels will continue with the rest of the tightening program.

When switched ON

Parameter

Description

Max failed steps

Specifies the maximum number of different steps that can fail during the whole tightening. It does not matter if the same step fail more than once, it still only counts as one failing step. If not set an unlimited number of steps can fail.

Max failed steps > Action if exceeded

Specifies the action if Maximum number of failing steps is exceeded.

NOK During Repair > Action

Specifies the action if a new error (NOK) is detected while a repair is ongoing.

NOK During Repair > Max repair attempts

Specifies the maximum number of repairs legal to start before the original repair is completed. Can only be specified if the chosen Action is either Repair all running repair or Repair NOK running repair

NOK During Repair > Action if exceeded

Specifies the action if the maximum number of repairs to legally start before the original repair is completed, is exceeded. Can only be specified if the chosen Action is either Repair all running repair or Repair NOK running repair.

Triggers

To view the Sync point table a tightening program with sync points must be selected for at least one bolt in Bolt configuration. For each synchronization point in the main path of the programs it is possible to specify different triggers to control the reject management.

Add trigger
  1. Click on the Add trigger button.

  2. Select a trigger.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Set action for each sync point.

Delete trigger
  1. Click Delete trigger.

Default trigger parameters

Description

Sync point

Sync point in the selected tightening program.

Default

Specifies the default action to take on error.

Default > NOK channel action

Specifies the main action if an error is detected. This is used if none of the other conditions are fulfilled.

Default > Other channel action

Specifies the other action to take if an error is detected. Available if the chosen Action is set to Terminate NOK, Repair Group, Terminate NOK Group, End NOK or End NOK Group.

Default > NOK channel action

Specifies the main action if an error is detected. Will be used if none of the other conditions are fulfilled

Number of repairs parameters

Description

Max Failed Repairs

Specifies the maximum number of repairs that can be started from the synchronization point and if not set, an unlimited number of repairs can be made.

Repair action

Specifies the action if Maximum number of repairs have been made and a new error occurs.

Other repair action

This parameter defines the action on the tools not running End or Terminate. Available if the chose Repair Action is set to Terminate NOK, Terminate NOK Groups, End NOK or End NOK Groups.

Max NOK channels parameters

Description

Max NOK channels

Specifies the maximum number of channels that can fail in the synchronization point at the same time. If not set the number of failing channels settings will never be used to decide the action.

NOK channel action

Specifies the action if more than the maximum specified channels have reached NOK status in the synchronization point.

Other channel action

This parameter defines the action on the channels not running End NOK or Terminate NOK. Available if the chosen NOK channel Action is set to Terminate NOK or End NOK.

NOK groups parameters

Description

Max NOK groups

Specifies the maximum number of groups that can fail in the synchronization point at the same time. If not set the number of failing groups settings will never be used to decide the action.

NOK group action

Specifies the action if more than the maximum specified groups have reached NOK status in the synchronization point.

Other group action

This parameter defines the action on the groups not running End NOK or Terminate NOK. Available if the chosen NOK group Action is set to Terminate NOK or End NOK.

Not repairable Parameters

Description

Failing channel action

Specifies the action if the total status in the synchronization point is Not repairable.

Other channel action

This parameter defines the action on the tools not running End or Terminate. Available if the chosen Failing channel action is set to Terminate NOK, Terminate NOK Groups, End NOK or End NOK Groups.
