Finding the I/O Hub IP Address

To find the I/O Hub IP address, a computer with the network packet analyzer Wireshark installed is needed. Wireshark can be downloaded from wireshark.org.

  1. Turn on the I/O Hub.

  2. Connect the I/O Hub to the computer. Refer to the I/O Hub Product Instruction for instructions.

  3. Open the Wireshark application.

  4. In Wireshark, start the capturing process.
    Refer to the Wireshark User's Guide for instructions on how to use the capturing process.

  5. Finish the capturing process. In the result view of Wireshark, the recurring ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) request is the IP address of the I/O Hub.

  6. Set the IP address of the computer to the same range as the IP address of the I/O Hub. It is now possible to connect to and configure the I/O Hub.
