Updating the Device Firmware

When device firmware is updated, Internal Web Pages will also be updated.

The ARGEE program needs to be deleted to allow device firmware update. Make sure that the ARGEE program is not locked.

Make sure that the IP address of the I/O Hub 8-PS and the IP address of the computer network adapter are in the same IP range.

  1. In the I/O Hub Settings home menu, select the required device or devices.

  2. To delete the ARGEE program, select ARGEE > Delete Program > Delete.

  3. When a green check mark is displayed in the Device status column, select Close.

  4. Select Search and select the required device or devices.

  5. Select Firmware > Open and find the location where the firmware files are stored on your computer. Select the firmware file.

  6. Select Start. When download is completed, a green check mark is displayed in front of the IP address column.

  7. Select Close.

  8. Wait 5 seconds before selecting Search in the I/O Hub Settings home menu. The new firmware version is now displayed in the Firmware version column.
