IPG Page Configuration
Changing the IP Address of the Projector
Ensure that the IP Address of the computer is 192.168.100.XXX (in the same subnet as the projector).
In the web browser use the set IP address of the projector (IPG).

The default IP address for IPG is 192.168.100.127 and shall be used if the IP address has never been changed or if the projector has been reset.
If the IP address of the projector has been changed before, use the changed IP address.
A window appears with Network Parameters.
In the IP address boxes, enter a new IP address of the IPG and select Set config.
In the ILG software, in Setup Mode, on the IPG page, select the row for the projector.
A Projector window appears.
Enter the chosen IP Address of IPG from step 3 in the IP box.
Select SAVE.
Using a Calibration File for the Projector
These steps are only required for RPC and older tvam. If the Calibration file box is left empty ILG will try to use the embedded calibration file on the IPG device.
Contact your Atlas Copco services representative and ask for a calibration file to use in ILG. Include the serial number of the projector.
When the Atlas Copco services representative has delivered the calibration file, save the file on the server where ILG is installed. Remember the path where the file is saved and the name of the file.
In the ILG software, in Setup Mode, on the IPG page, select the + button to add a new projector or select the row of the projector and the
icon to edit an added projector.A Projector window appears.
In the Projector window, in the Calibration file box, enter the path and file name. For example, C:\Program Files\IndustrialLocationGuidance\CalibrationFile.config.
Select SAVE.
Calibrating the Tool for Projection
Ensure that the geometry of the tool is correct.
In the ILG software, in Setup Mode, on the IPG page, select the row of the projector and select CALIBRATE.
A Projector Calibration window appears in the ILG software and a rectangle with 5 crosses is projected by the IPG.
In the Projector Calibration window in ILG, ensure that bolts in the workpiece are within the rectangle projected by the IPG by changing the parameters Area Width, Area Length, Area Center X and Area Center Y.
During calibration place the tool tip on the 5 crosses/positions projected by the IPG and press and release the tool trigger, one at a time.

For one of the five crosses/positions it is recommended that the tool tip is placed on a point a little higher than the other 4 positions, relative to the surface of the workpiece, for better accuracy of the calibration.
Select SAVE.
In Setup Mode, on the IPG page, select the row of the projector and select the Tool Position button.

Tool Position button. A Project window appears and a cross is projected by the IPG.
Confirm that the calibration is successful by moving the tool around, if the calibration is well done the projection of the cross will be located on the tool tip and will follow it around when it is moving.
Select OK.
