Considerations during the use of Spindles
The list below states what to be considered when using spindles and StepSync or FlexSystem.
ILG will not receive the tc_results messages when StepSync and Open Protocol is being used. The ILG process will still work, however the HMI will not show torque and angle results.
It is recommended to use the same pset for all spindles.
The following information applies if the spindles are using different psets:
If the psets have mixed thread directions (clockwise/counterclockwise), ILG will not read the thread direction correctly in Sync Mode.
If all psets have counterclockwise thread direction: No Mode shall have the same ID number as an existing Pset ID number.
Alternatively, all Mode Ids should be larger than the largest Pset ID.
If the result of a spindle is NOK the position (and all visualized bolts) will be marked red.
Rework must be performed on all spindles, it is not possible to perform rework on individual spindles.
