General Service and Maintenance Safety

Test the emergency stop at regular intervals.

• Each emergency stop installation must be tested regularly to ensure maintained safety integrity. It is recommended that this test is included in the regular maintenance procedure for the system.

Electrical Hazard

Disconnect from the power source during service, to avoid electric shock.

• The removal of the plug has to be such that the operator can check from any of the points to which he has access, that the plug remains removed.
