Capability report parameters

• Inspections: add/remove the inspections to include in the report.

  • Click on the Search icon () to select the inspections.

    In the Inspection definitions workspace, select the inspections between Cm/Cmk, Cp/Cpk and SPC.

    Then, click Apply.

  • Click on the Delete icon ( ) to remove an inspection from the selected list.

  The maximum number of inspections to select is 10.

• Subgroup size (*): type the number of measures to include in the report.

  The value can range from 1 to 25. The default value is 5.

• Subgroup number (*): type the number of subgroups to include in the report.

  The value can range from 1 to 100. The default value is 25.

• Standard deviation estimator: from the drop-down list select between:

  • Rbar: it estimates sigma using the mean of the subgroup ranges.

  • Sbar: it is the average of the subgroup standard deviations.

  • Pooled: it is a weighted average of the subgroup standard deviations; the weighting gives larger groups a proportionally greater influence on the overall estimate.

Report graph limits

• Torque custom limits: click on the switch to enable/disable the following parameters:

  • Torque lower limit (*): type the lower torque limit to include in the statistical analysis.

  • Torque upper limit (*): type the upper torque limit to include in the statistical analysis.

• Angle custom limits: click on the switch to enable/disable the following parameters:

  • Angle lower limit (*): type the lower angle limit to include in the statistical analysis.

  • Angle upper limit (*): type the upper angle limit to include in the statistical analysis.

• Dimension custom limits: click on the switch to enable/disable the following parameters:

  • Dimension lower limit (*): type the lower dimension limit to include in the statistical analysis.

  • Dimension upper limit (*): type the upper dimension limit to include in the statistical analysis.

Date range

• The date range can be given as follows:

  • From - to: click to select the dates from the calendar.

  • Range: from the drop-down list, select between today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, last month.

  Click either the left or the right arrow to change the view of the date range.

• Selected filter: from the drop-down list, select one of the saved capability report filters.

Items marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
