Load change
Load changes and readjustments may only be carried out by trained and competent personnel.
Always suspend or remove loads when the rope is fully retracted. Never remove loads when the rope is extended. Relieved cables (without load) can snap back with extremely high energy.
If the cable snaps back (in the unloaded state), the cable may possibly no longer be properly anchored (the cable may have broken out of the inner cable suspension). Immediately stop working with the balancer, mark it as defective.
Move the suspended load up until the wire stop buffer (4) touches the housing.
Remove the former load.
Adjust the balancer to the maximum permissible load. Observe the information on the CE Label (1) and in the table at the front of the instructions for use.
Attach the new load.
Adjust the load capacity if necessary
Check the function of the balancer.
