Changing the Angle Head

Using the wrong type of angle head can cause incorrect tightenings and inaccurate torque calculations.

Use the Correct Maximum Torque, Gear Ratio and Efficiency Tuning for the Angle Head

Using the wrong maximum torque can break the angle head. Using the wrong gear ratio and efficiency tuning can cause incorrect tightening and inaccurate torque calibration.

  • Use the maximum torque, gear ratio and efficiency tuning stated on the angle head. The technical data for the angle head can also be found on ServAid. If the efficiency tuning is not stated on the angle head, it should be set to 1.

Inserting the Angle Head
  1. Insert the angle head in the drive unit.

  2. Push the angle head down all the way. Make sure the red ring is not visible.

Removing the Angle Head
  1. Press down the locking ring to release the angle head.

  2. The red ring appears and the angle head can be removed.
