Assembly

In Assembly tab, there is a list of pre-configured tensioning programs compatible with the connected tensioner. If no compatible programs are available, the following message appears at the bottom of the screen: No compatible program.

WARNING

Projectile Hazard

Always pre-tighten the bolt before starting the tensioning job! If the bolt engagement is lower than recommended, it can result in severe bodily injury or death and/or property damage.

This can happen during the rundown of the tensioner on the bolt, which can lead to the tensioner becoming a high-velocity projectile.

  • Always pre-tighten the bolt before starting the tensioning job so it does not move while running down the tensioner.

  1. On the Home view, go to Tasks > Assembly.

  2. Select a program to run by using the up and down buttons to navigate through the list and then press the Enter button in the middle to confirm the choice.

The name presented in the list is taken from the Name field under General Settings > Properties tab.

  3. When the message Position tool on bolt appears on the screen, rundown the tensioner straight on top of the bolt.

Make sure that the socket is aligned with the nut.

  4. Press the Forward button on the keypad to start the tensioning operation.
