Service Instructions Crowfoot
After each tightening interval the crowfoot shall be dismantled, cleaned and lubricated. As the gear wheels are exposed to hard wear it is important to check the condition. If any of the gear wheels are worn or damaged, all the gear wheels shall be replaced. Also needle bearings shall be replaced if needed.
Additional grease shall be supplied by a grease gun through the nipple at regular intervals between the service of the crowfoot . Fill with lubricant until it emerges on the output socket. Do not press in too much grease, overgreasing will cause heat and slower speed.
