Precautions
Electrical hazard
Turn off mains power supply before adjusting or servicing.
Crushing Hazard
Never handle the tool with power supply connected. An unexpected start in an axial direction can cause bodily injury or property damage.
Remove the motor cable before handling the tool.
Turn the handle (A) counter clockwise to release the motor cable.
Pull out the motor cable.
Do not let the press piston rod support the press weight during service or repairs.
Axial force on the PST press piston rod may completely damage the load cell.
Radial force on the press piston rod may completely damage the press.
If the piston rod is not supported enough to withstand radial movements, the piston rod may be completely damaged or the service life and press accuracy will be reduced.
For vertical installation: Assemble the press vertically on the end surface to prevent radial movement.
For horizontal installation: Use a radial support in order to keep the piston rod level.
