Outputs are protected against short circuits, overload, load discharge (inductive voltage spikes) as well as the loss of ground connection.
Reversing the polarity of the supply voltage will destroy the soldered fuse.
Optionally, the ground potentials of the 24VDC inputs can be separated from those of the 24VDC outputs. The maximum permissible potential difference between the grounds is 100VDC.
