Dismantling the spindle

CAUTION

Make sure the spindle is disconnected from the cable before dismantling.

  1. Hold the spindle using a vise and an adjustable spanner.

  2. Remove the MT OSG L by hand.

  3. Remove the spindle from the adjustable spanner.

  4. Remove the four screws holding the cover, using a screwdriver.

  5. Remove the cover.

  6. Remove the two screws holding the housing, using an allen key.

  7. Disconnect the indicator cable.

  8. Remove the housing.

  9.  

    1. Disconnect the temperature sensor cable from the circuit board.

    2. Move the cable out from the frame.

  10. Disconnect the control cable from the circuit board.

  11.  

    1. Disconnect the motor cable from the circuit board.

    2. Move the cable out from the frame.

  12. Hold the spindle by the drive unit using a vise and an adjustable spanner.

  13. Remove the ring nut and ring using an adjustable spanner.

  14. Remove the spindle from the adjustable spanner.

  15. Remove the drive unit from the frame.

    NOTICE

    Do not strain the cable.
