OpenTelemetry
The OpenTelemetry function allows you to connect ToolsControl Portal to Dynatrace to collect logs and metrics to monitor your ToolsControl Portal cluster.
Enable OpenTelemetry
By default OpenTelemetry is disabled. To enable OpenTelemetry:
Open ToolsControl Portal.
Select the Settings menu and then select the Logs tab.
Enable OpenTelemetry.
The URL and Authentication header boxes appear.
In URL, enter the base URL that is specific to your Dynatrace deployment, including your Dynatrace environment ID.
Example:
https://{your-domain}/e/{your-environment-id}/api/v2/otlpIn Authentication header, enter the Dynatrace token identifier, prefixed by ‘Api-Token ’.
