The Network page contains of Single IP settings and Multi subnet configurations. The Single IP IP address can not be the same as other IP addresses that any server uses to run the cluster.
The Export/Import page allows for most of the system configuration to be exported or imported. The Export creates an export archive file that includes most of the configurations of the ToolsControl system. The configurations include controllers, tools, and accessories. The export archive file can be used as backup and later imported to restore the configuration to a well-known state. It can also be used to transfer the configuration to a new ToolsControl installation.
The Events page provides detailed information about events. Selected events will be displayed as a notification when received. The notifications disappear automatically after a few seconds. Three configurable items include:
Max number of events saved in database
Lowest event level saved in database
Set level of priority to show notifications
The Time page contains the IP address and status information for each NTP server. Users can either add or remove NTP server from the Time view. Instead of using NTP server, users can also manually change date and time.
The Log files page allows the system logs to be exported as an archive in GZIP format. This feature is intended to be used by an end-user when installing the ToolsControl. The export includes the following logs in the system, for example: controller logs, portal logs, and service logs.
The Authentication page contains three sub sections: Active Directory, User search filter and Authentication. Active Directory includes all the information where the AD connection is defined and the admin user which ToolsControl uses to access it. User search filter specifies the LDAP parameter for filtering the user search. The authentication can deactivated through Authentication section.
Contact IT department for related Active Directory configuration details before connecting ToolsControl to an Active Directory.
The HTTPS page includes the certificate details that ToolsControl assigns. User can create CA CSR, upload certificate, or generate certificate in this page.
