Accessories

In the Accessories view, all accessories are displayed with their properties:

  • Labels

  • Type

  • Serial number

  • States

  • Controller mapping information

Typical states are:

  • Connected (is fully functioning)

  • Offline (has been connected but is now powered off)

  • Online (is connected to ToolsControl but is not mapped to a controller)

An accessory is not removable if the status is Online or Connected. The accessories are organized according to the controller to which they are mapped. By default, the order is based on the controller structure. Several filters and the search function are available for users to manage the accessories. Users can either map or unmap one or more accessories to selected controller. Users can also filer the accessories according to the mappings or state information the accessories have.

Detailed information displays after selecting an accessory, the options to manage the accessory are also listed. Management involves:

  • Mapping

  • Unmapping

  • Modifying the label

  • Removing the label

The accessory is only removable if it is offline. An accessory cannot be mapped or unmapped if it is offline. Any changes applied to an accessory are automatically displayed in the dedicated view.
