Logging out from Smart AMS Config

Smart AMS automatically logs you out after a specified period of inactivity.

To specify the amount of user inactivity time on Smart AMS Config before the user is logged out, you must be logged-on as a superuser. You can use the username and password that you specified when logging on to Smart AMS Config for the first time, because the first user created in Smart AMS Config is automatically assigned the Superuser role.

  • Go to the Smart AMS Config address in your web browser by using the Open Smart AMS Config UI shortcut on the Desktop or on the Windows Start menu.
    Sample address: https://localhost:6395. Make sure to replace localhost with the actual IP address of the computer Smart AMS Config is running on.

  • Select in the upper-right corner of the page, select the Account management section, and then select Settings.

Logout interval field: Specify the period of time after which the logout process will be initiated. In this case, you will need to enter your password to log on again.

You can log out anytime.

  • To log out, select in the upper right corner of the page, and then select Logout . In this case, you will need to enter your username and password to log on again.
