Tool Settings

In the tool settings the tool can be configured to operate in the following tool modes:

  • Standalone

  • Connected

Standalone

In this mode the tool is configured and controlled through a web interface, that connects to the tool via a USB connection.

Tightening programs are configured in the Tightening section of the web GUI.

No results are collected.

Connected

In this mode, the tool is connected to a controller. The tightening settings in the tool web HMI are disabled in this mode. The tool is configured and controlled through the controller, which can connect to the tool via WLAN or Bluetooth.

When the tool is set to Connected, the Power Focus sends tightening programs to the tool and collects the results.

Configuring the WLAN Connection

  1. Go to Settings and select Connectivity.

  2. Enter the credentials for the WLAN network.

  3. Enter the IP address of the controller and the port.

Configuring the Bluetooth Connection

  1. Go to Settings and select Connectivity.

  2. Initiate the paring sequence on both the tool and the Power Focus.
