Rescue mode

If the software update fails or the application fails to load, the tool will enter rescue mode. The tool will show an error event that it is in rescue mode.

In rescue mode the tool cannot be used until a new software is installed in the tool.

Installing a new software package in rescue mode

  1. Connect the tool to the XB web user interface via USB.

  2. Load the software package in the web user interface.

  3. Wait for the software update to finish. The screen will display the progress.

  4. The tool will start up.
