Working with AppSettings
AppSettings contain various application settings that are not visible in the Installation Configurator interface. If a user wants to configure these settings, they should open the appSettings.config file and manually update the desired values.
Users must ensure they fully understand the values they are modifying and the potential impact of those changes. If they are unsure, it is recommended to consult an Atlas Copco Service Technician before making any updates.
The default location of the appSettings.config file is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Atlas Copco\ACDataCommunication
After making changes to the file and saving it, the AtlasCopco_DataCommunication service must be restarted for the new settings to take effect.
