Pairing STRwrench to STpalm

In the STpalm Toolbar, tap the Menu icon (). Then, tap Measuring devices.

In the Measuring devices page, tap the Add icon ().

In the Measuring devices type window, tap STRwrench.

In the Connection category of the Add STRwrench page, configure the following parameters

• Connection type: select IRC-B.

• Trace read: below are the available trace read options:

  • Always: if this option is selected, the traces are always read.

  • NOK only: if this option is selected, only NOK traces are read.

  • Never: if this option is selected, the traces are never read.

• Double results: select the check box to enable the reading of the residual point and the peak point for each tightening of the STwrench.

  By default the check box is selected.

• Max torque behavior: select the check box the enable the double control of the residual point and peak point values. If both values are within the limits, the test is OK. If the Peak result is out the limits, the test is NOK.

  This check box is available only if the Double results check box is selected.

Switch on the STRwrench and press on the keyboard in this sequence: ON/OFF (), UP/LEFT (), SELECT () and DOWN/RIGHT ().

When the STRwrench is in Waiting PIN status, on the device Connection category of the Add STRwrench page, tap the More icon () then Pair.

At the end of the pairing process, on the Pairing window, tap OK.

On the upper-right corner of the Add STRwrench page, tap the Save icon ().
